How to Change Your Character in Sea of Thieves

I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but we need to be able to change how our character looks at least once since beginning the game. I chose my character during the beta not thinking it would carry over to the full game. I just clicked on the first one I saw because I was so eager to play and didn't think twice. I really regret this decision and request that we be able to change our characters, just once. Please rare

I'm not against being able to change your pirate without resetting all progress, but for you to say your pirate carried over from the beta is just false. All pirates were wiped, and everyone had to choose a new pirate when the game released. Please don't lie about your story just to try to enhance your point.

Have my upvote. There are countless players sharing your issue. I on the other hand deleted my pirate 3 times and spend hours in the character generator until I was happy with my current pirate (who hit Athena 10 yesterday :D).

Kudos to you on PL10! And I would delete mine but I'm PL7 as of now and really don't wanna go through the grind again. I have thought about it before tho

Do you lose progress, specifically commendations, when you delete your pirate?

It's been asked for endlessly, and I believe the devs have said it's on their radar, but doesn't seem to be high on their list. So I guess it's coming, but it's anyone's guess as to when.

My progress didn't carry over from beta. I had to re-roll and start over.

I think we should be able to change the chonk of our character at least, because size affects your ability to hide and make plays.

That being said, I honestly kinda like that there are completely random presets as opposed to games that start you off with a template. Anyone remember all the default bald goatee green shirt dark green pants Runescape players?

Appearance traits like specific noses are unique to specific body sizes, so you wouldn't be able to scale up/down size and keep the same facial features etc.

I played beta and my pirate did not carry over. If my pirate did carry over it'd be fine because beta progress was wiped so I would have just deleted him if I wasnt happy. Sorry about your luck and yeah regardless of reasons Rare should hand out a ticket to generate a new pirate every anniversary.

Yes my progress and levels and everything didn't carry over either i started off clean as well but unfortunately my pirate did and i don't even need a ticket every anniversary just 1 change like they do in some mobile games like Coc

I first played Sea of Thieves during the $1 windows store game pass thing. I did not think I would like this game so I picked the ugliest and largest pirate I could find.

Well 1 year later and countless hours I think I am bonded to my large boned lady pirate and I'm not sure I could give her up even if given the option to change.

Got my doot. My girlfriend loves playing the game but chose the oldest and worst character model i have ever seen. She chose the first option as well, not understand that her choice was -final-.

All I can say is... pls rare.

Somehow OP is the only person on the Sea of Thieves to have his character's appearance carry over from the beta.
